Thanks to Ken Pak Photography (www.visualsketch.com), I was able to join their team to cover two weddings recently.  It was quite educational in terms of observing how the photographers interact with the clients and what needs to be said and done to maintain the control.  And the weddings are always fun to cover.

It was 2 second exposure on a tripod to create the spiral pattern on the floor.  There was a mirror ball on the ceiling that gave me the idea.    Taking the photo was fun as always but it was more challenging to have a 5 year old to sit still even for 2 seconds.

I have been meaning to try out the HDR technique for several years and finally got to do it.  It indeed produces an interesting results.  I’ll explore this more to experience the technique’s full capability.

J.J’s class went on a field trip to the National History Museum.  I went with his class as a parent volunteer.  There I saw Ethan, J.J’s classmate.  He was gazing at one of the exibitions.  I really liked his intense look and took a shot before he looked away.
