There was a major snow storm in our area couple of days before the engagement session and the forecast was predicting another inclement weather on the same day. For me, the snow is a good element to add in the photos but I was concerned about a possible icy rain that would make our session difficult. I spoke to Nicole about it but recommended to go with the original plan with the option to postpone if it really gets tough. Nicole and Ray were such a good sport and they also wanted to go for it. I like their style!!! So there we were! The mighty Manassas Battlefield Park! We were walking up to the top of snow-melt muddy hills so we could get a clean background, jumping so many times to get that levitation shot, and walking, dragging, rolling in that vast field of snow all for those shots and the shots we got! Ray was the man. This little thing called cold temperature didn’t bother him at all in fact, I think he was actually enjoying it. The True Man! And Nicole was simply awesome! When I shoot an engagement, I tend to be so overwhelmed by the excitement and become quickly wanting to bring out the images in my head that I sometimes don’t even understand what I am saying. Nicole was going with the flow, enjoying the moment, and even understood my ever-abstract pose directions that only Jesus understands because he is the Lord! Nicole & Ray, you guys are awesome and I can’t wait to see you at your wedding next month! Thank you so much for working with us!! I also want to thank Eric Lee for joining the session and contributing yet another awesome photos!
