I had the great pleasure of covering the Two Line Photo Exhibition event held at The U.S. Capitol. The Exhibition presents two byproducts of Cold War, the Korean Demilitarized Zone also known as DMZ which divides North and South Korea and the German Greenbelt that had once existed between East and West Germany. The exhibition also enjoyed the presence of distinguished guests. Congressman Charles Rangel and Congressman Dave Camp, who were instrumental in arranging the historic “Way in Means” room which I understand it’s very difficult to make, were visiting with Kim, Moon-Su, the Governor of Gyoung-gi Province of Korea. I also got to meet Congressman Mike Honda. He didn’t remember me but we sort of met and chat at now defunct Cafe Japone in DC a few years ago. The assignment was pretty straightforward, just capturing the guests and the interior of the Way in Means room. It was obvious that I couldn’t use the off-camera flash so majority of the photos were shot using the on-camera flash bounce. I thank the staff at Gimga Design Group for this wonderful opportunity and I look forward to working with them again in the near future!
